The Tosco-Emiliano Biosphere Reserve, partner of the Arcadia project, has launched a public consultation to define the objectives of its upcoming Action Plan 2026-2035. This strategic document will be developed through a participatory process in the coming autumn, incorporating insights from the UNESCO MAB World Congress, scheduled for September in China.
Why is this consultation important?
This initiative offers an opportunity to gather feedback on the Reserve’s activities over the past years and to propose potential improvements. The public’s input is crucial to shaping sustainable policies that will guide the reserve’s future.
How to participate?
The consultation consists of a questionnaire that takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. Contributions will be accepted until May 10, 2025 via the official online platform (Italian):
Next steps
The results of the consultation will be presented in June 2025, during a series of public meetings held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the UNESCO MAB designation, which was awarded on June 9, 2015. These events will foster dialogue and collective reflection on the sustainable future of the Biosphere Reserve.
Get involved!
This participatory process seeks to actively engage the community in the development of a resilient and thriving Biosphere Reserve.
